1. Controller

2. Collection and storage of personal data
When you visit our website, information is automatically collected by the hosting provider (GitHub Pages). This data (server log files) includes the browser type, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing device and the time of the server request.
3. Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact information provided, will be stored with us for the purpose of processing the request. The contact form is processed via the Formspree service (formspree.io). Formspree stores your data in accordance with their privacy policy.
4. Cookies and consent
On your first visit, a banner asks which services you want to allow. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (technically necessary, Section 25(2) TDDDG). Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Maps are only loaded with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
5. Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and records e.g. pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device and browser, and clicks on contact options. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data is deleted after 14 months. Transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Google Ads conversion tracking
With your consent we use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited). If you reach our website via one of our Google ads, a cookie is set. This tells us whether an inquiry followed the click (e.g. contact form, call or WhatsApp). We only receive aggregated statistics, no information that personally identifies you. No remarketing or personalised advertising takes place. Transfer to the USA is possible (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
7. Google Maps
Our website can embed a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited). The map is only loaded once you agree (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your IP address and browser information, among other things, are then transmitted to Google, possibly also to the USA.
8. WhatsApp
If you contact us via the WhatsApp button, you are redirected to WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited), whose privacy policy then applies. No WhatsApp script is loaded on our website itself.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, to data portability, to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
